Problems with Music Center 19 and interaction with J Remote and how to reverse

After I installed Music Center 19 I started having problems with interaction between it and my JRemote. I also had many requests from my Norton anti virus asking to make changes in my computer, which I allowed. I then uninstalled the MC 19 but the interaction problems still exist between my 2 J River software products. Did the uninstall reverse the changes that the MC 19 made to my computer and may still be causing these interaction problems. If not, how can I restore my computer to its pre 19 state?

Try uninstalling Norton AV.
