Hello all.  I've got a strange problem going on, it seems to be new problem (for me).  Have not been able to find the answer via search. If you know of a thread, please point me to it.

My MC18 is stalling at the end of the track.  It will not advance to the next track in the list.  Sometimes there is digital hash or noise when it stalls.
But here is the odd thing, it only does it when I click play on a track in list.  If I click Play below an album icon, all tracks play normally, one after another.  The stalling only happens if play is initiated from the list.

Windows XP headless.  RDP into MC18 to see it.  Kernel streaming.

Driver problem?  Headless operation or remote desktop causing it?  Thanks.

Hi Jim.  No, no anti-virus.  This is a "clean as I can make it" Windows XP Pro install.  The computer is used for nothing but MC 18.

Just to reiterate:  If playback is started from an Album, a Genre, an Artist, no problem.  But if a track is played from inside a list, then it stalls.  Once the chosen track plays, it hangs at the end.  There is a sound like a fast CD skip. It won't advance to the next track.   This could be any list.  E.G. Search results, playlist, album file list, whatever.  It's recent behavior, but I can't figure out what brought it on.  Will continue to search.  Thanks.

It could be driver related.  Try playing to a different device if possible.

Check the playlist for any files that don't exist or won't play.
