Sync playlists to SDcard?
« on: January 05, 2014, 05:55:37 pm »

I just got a radio that can play music via SDcard. How can I sync my playlists to the card?

Mount the card onto the MC system.  Create a virtual Handheld selecting the card, or a folder on the card as the "device", and configure the sync as necessary (for conversion, directory levels, etc.).  Select the playlist(s) you want sync'd.

I've just done this with a 64 GB usb stick ....

I created folders like "1-Brasil" "2-Favourites" etc. on the stick that match my JRiver playlists.

Just take care when making the first folder (if you want folders, that is) to get the settings right, and test it.

Eg, conversion from FLAC to mp3 and the quality you want (I chose "extreme"!).

Good luck.
