Background graphics in theatre view

I am using MC18 and for some reason the background graphics in theatre view are stuck on the jpegs used in my theme. I have obviously selected show google etc graphics in options and set them as strong... but they do not show when theatre view, now playing is selected.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Currently, there is a problem with Google....
