Error message?
« on: January 13, 2014, 01:06:18 pm »

'There was a problem loading the web browser engine.
Please download and install the latest version of media centre.'

I ignore this error message all the time as the selected item always displays (usually within a second or two). Is there really an error here or should the wording be changed?

I see that occasionally also.  We'll check it out and see if we can improve the message or get rid of it.

You shouldn't have to take any action.  Does it just show for a second or so and then go away?

Hi, I did uninstall and reinstall, and amazingly it reinstated all my lists, and the program is apparently back to full functionality.

Uninstalling and reinstalling won't clear the Library information, unless you go out of your way to check the box to clear the Library data during the uninstall.
