I am really new at this.  I have had problems with ripping albums.  There are track breaks where there should not be any-which actually makes breaks in songs.  It also makes breaks in in long tracks where none where indicated.  What can I do to get an album ripped the way that it was recorded without the breaks between tracks where none were needed.

It probably has nothing to do with ripping but with playback settings of the audio device,

Go to Playing Now
Right click on the audio device and choose Playback Options
Set Switch Tracks to Gapless.
