Video Sizing Change
« on: March 08, 2014, 08:25:27 am »

Okay, I'm usually good about figuring stuff out, and if I can't, I know how to search for answers, but I'm stumped!

I have my older version of 16.  All my video play in full screen.  If I remember right, I only had to go in to the tools, options video and tell it to play at 178 widescreen / 16.9 for non dvd videos.

I can't seem to do that in this new edition, it's small.  Telling it to crop / zoom is chopping way too much of the screen off.

What am I missing??  Is this the new Norm???

Thank you to anyone that can help me with this or point me in the right direction!!!

So I'm guessing there is no fix / workaround to make videos full screen without cutting off a good portion of the video.
Seems odd that V16 works perfectly, but this won't.

My trial is now expired and I won't renew without a fix.
I'll find something else or just continue with my old version.

I'm not sure I understand what you're looking for - do you want video to be stretched out to fill the screen instead of keeping the video in the original aspect ratio or cropping?

Tools > Options > Video > Advanced > Aspect ratio mode: Stretch should do that.
