Gizmo not volume levelled when playing "here"
« on: June 02, 2014, 07:30:20 pm »

Hi All .
Ive searched the forums and cant find an answer as to why
my audio is coming out at different levels when playing to my android
device via gizmo.

I have set the options for quality , caching etc but can't find anything relevant.
So I guess I am trying to  find how  if the computer I am streaming from has additional
influence.
Thanks All.

Alternatively could someone let me know if this is a silly question

Not silly.  I don't use Volume Leveling so I had never noticed it, but I don't see any way to configure it for Gizmo like you can for DLNA Servers.  I could see the usefulness if you used the Volume Leveling feature; probably more so if there was a PCM 16bit conversion option instead of just MP3s.

This seems to be a really strange omission . Especially when randomising tracks from different albums.
Any workarounds
