Importing Customs Tags from MP3Tag
« on: June 20, 2014, 04:43:30 pm »

So I created custom tags in mp3tag for my flac CD ripps (%label% and %cdnumber%) to distinguish between different releases of CDs...

I tried to create custom Manage Library Field entry in JRiver called Label but JRiver is not importing custom %label% tag from FLAC...

Any help? How to make JRiver to read custom tags and import them properly into library?

Select one of the files, and go to the Tag Action Window.  Click the very first line that lists the duration, size, and file type.  Click that line to open the physical tag dump window.  Look for your tag.  Create a field in MC with exactly the same name.  Then, do you a Library Tools > Update Library (from tags) to have the value read in.
