Hey, where's my wish (mass ripping support)?

Some weeks ago the Wish Gods/Goddesses e-mailed me that my wish list item, "mass ripping support", would be in the latest version of MJ. Now that I've gotten 8 to run stably (and, unfortunately, after the completion of ripping all 367 of my CDs), I don't see the mass ripping. Did I miss it someplace? In fact, in some unnecessary test rips I did, it seems to go slower, because whether encode simultaneously is turned on or not, that's what it does. MJ no longer copies all tracks to .WAV as fast as it can and then crunches; it just copies one, crunches one until it's done. The wish was for copy to .WAV and then allow more copying to .WAV while the crunching was catching up, and the freakin' rip window is still as modal and obtrusive as it ever was. Whatsa deal, Wish Gods? Have my chantings and sacrifice not been pleasing unto you?

Your faithful servant ever,
Severian
