Moving Library Files
« on: July 08, 2014, 09:28:34 am »

Hey All,

I'm trying to figure out how to move the library files [not audio, video or photo files] from my PC onto my NAS. My aim is to be able to share the library files, from the NAS, with my wife [who will access the library files from her PC]. Creating a new library, with the location on the server [NAS] is easy, however, it doesn't have all the user created fields that I've been populating over several years. And, from what I can gather, synchronising the PC and NAS, and changing the folder "pointer" will still leave the library files [and user created fields] on my PC.

Has anyone tried this before and is able to provide some advice?
