How do if my audio stayed at 48k 24 bit?

I ripped an audio dvd onto JRiver but I don't know where to go to see if it stayed 48k 24 bit 5.1 surround.
Where do I go?

Audio Path in the upper right in windowed mode, or the Player menu if you right-click the video when it's playing fullscreen.

I'm getting 48k 36bit input, and 48k 24bit output. Is there anything wrong? why is the input higher?

I would expect 32bit input.  This is just the native intermediate format used to transfer the data.

now I just put in a 96khz 24bit DVD audio disk and it's only reading as 48k. Any idea why that would happen? how to fix it?

I ripped audio from a 96khz 24 bit DVD audio disk. Windows is at 24bit 96000 Hz. And I am playing through laptop speakers. Audio path is showing a 48khz 24 bit output. How can I fix it to where it actually plays 96khz audio? I don't have any other speakers or headphones at the moment, i'm just trying to make sure JRiver actually plays the audio quality I expect it too without changes.

Double-check DSP Studio > Output Format > Sample rate.

It's possible your DAC only supports 48kHz.

Just set the sample rate so that you try it.
