addons
« on: August 17, 2014, 08:44:27 pm »

Hi I use jriver mostly for audio. I would like to remove my cable subscription as much as possible and use my htpc. I tried installing xmbc which has tons of addons to add channels like crackle, vevo, pbs, sports channels, and a ton more. I would rather use jriver but besides the few included like netflix hulu youtube, is there a way to add the same things as xmbc?

In standard view, if I want to watch tv stations that stream on line I just head to Video > Connect Media

Works the same for Audio if you stream internet radio.

I either surf around until I find what I want or surf to a URL if I know it. Then it's just a case of right click and Add Website.

Is that what you're after?

Sorry, my needs are pretty simple.

ok thanks so if I understand it correctly I have to search and find all channels from the web and save them as opposed to XMBC addons which it is already all there I just have to choose what I want to add, much simpler...
