Thanks for the reply,
It's a 6 room system with two basic configurations. Three rooms have a Cambridge Audio Stream Magic 6 feeding an A/V sound system. Three rooms have an NAD 7050 integrated renderer/amp. The music is stored on a Synology DiskStation 214-Play NAS with MC running on a Windows PC. We're controlling it from Web Gizmo on my Android phone and JRemote on my wife's iPhone.
The system sounds great, but is flaky and unstable - still trying to get it into a reliable configuration and way over my head in terms of complexity. Sometimes it can't find the music files and I have to reboot all of the components (a few times in some cases). Right now, the music in one NAD room will play a single song, then stop. I have to select another song and start it to continue listening. However, a Cambridge Audio room is working fine.
One possible issue may be contention among multiple overlapping services trying to take control. For example, MC, the DiskStation, and NAD amps all claim to have DLNA servers. I'm not very computer literate, and not sure which one is in charge.
