Toast Notifications?

While I would still like to see improved Windows integration in general, I was wondering if Windows 8 toast notifications are something that could be supported by Media Center, to pop up a notification when the track changes.

App Notifications on OSX would be nice too.

Notifications when downloads complete would be very useful too - especially with Windows 9 adding a new notification center.
