How to change the default storage location.
« on: September 09, 2014, 05:27:42 pm »

I want to store my music on a NAS and I want the rip my CD's directly to the NAS using JRiver but I can't figure out to change the default storage location. I also only want JRiver to manage files on the NAS and not on my Main Computer. Right now it has cataloged every thing on my main computer and I don't want that showing up in the Media Center home window.

In MC options, you will find "File Locations".

Also check the encoding section.

The options window has a search at the bottom.

Thanks for the tip but is there any way to stop MC from cataloging all the Media files on my system. Because now it is scanning the entire network (I have a separate NAS for other media) and showing those in the control panel
