Can not paste in registration number in linux
« on: September 15, 2014, 09:12:08 am »

There seems to be some problem here where I can not paste the license or registration number into JRiver Media Center 20 for linux.
This is installed on Kubuntu 14.04 and is the first time use in this OS.

I can type it in and it works but....... this must be an error yes?

Copy-Pasting isn't very well supported yet. You can read about parts of it here: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=90381.0

Thank you that solves it.

Arbitrarily, as the other post points out Qt has support on all major platforms including mobile and supports paste already. just saying  :-\

We intentionally do not use any GUI framework, as that would not work with the way Media Center is skinned.

Well even the suggestion of python2/3 is a good one too as it has nothing to do with the gui. So anyway I see how it goes thank you for the help.
The addition of suggestions in the other thread worked to get the password in there with out typing it all.
