Gizmo with no internet access

Gizmo's wiki says it will remember the last IP used., but I tried just this morning, and it doesn't. Gizmo keeps waiting on "looking up access key".
Unless the wiki means "the first time" as "the first time of each session", which doesn't really help...

This is a very critical issue for me, since the jriver system will be installed on a... boat, with no internet access most of the time.

Am I missing something, or is there any workaround ?

Bump. Had the same issue and the same question yesterday waiting for a service technician to show up to restore our internet (NOT!).

You can enter an IP address in Gizmo where it's asking for the access key.
