I can´t manage to get the new assets like showing a Booklet.pdf within JRemote V3.08 to work.

What do I have to configurate in JRiver (Auto Import?) to get it? - Thanks in advance!

You have to select Data under General options=>Features otherwise you won't have the choice. I believe its off by default.

Showing a Booklet.pdf with JRemote works - in principle.

But there is a lot of strange behavior.

If I have a typical folder structure like this:

Artist A:
             CD 1:
                     Track 1
                     Track 2...

             CD 2:
                     Track 1
                     Track 2...
                     Booklet.pdf

             CD 3:
                     Track 1
                     Track 2...
                     Booklet.pdf


I would expect, getting the paper-clip for a 'asset' when choosing CD 2 or CD 3 and no paper-clip when playing CD 1.

In reality I sometimes get no assets, although there is definitely a 'Booklet.pdf' in this folder and on the other hand I get both booklets of CD2 AND CD 3, when choosing CD 1

Is there something I forgot to edit (in JRiver) or is this behavior still buggy?

as far as i know, jremote searches folders and subfolders together so it is normal to see booklet in cd1...

In my testing here I get the correct behaviour with your folder setup.
If an album is inside it`s own folder, only that folders content should be shown.

I`m gonna have to try and reproduce this behaviour somehow.

It is same in the metadata view...
But I found it very strange because as far as I checked it happens only in keith jarretts bach siz sonatas for Violin album it covers all the booklets of all other albums...

Please look at the file path for those albums with issues. Post them here or send them to me by mail.
That would really help finding what the problem is.

I read the reply of corehun and tested a lot...
It seems to be, that an existing booklet is NOT shown, if you use special letters in the title of the album (in my case its the"[" and "]" to mark a Hires-Album, i.e "[24-96]"

The booklets are shown a bunch of times, if the Album has double Artists, i.e "Keith Jarrett\\Charlie Haden"

I could not check every "booklet-mistake", but this seems to be a lead...

[] are special characters used by the search engine, so that is definitely the cause of the first issue.  Can probably get that working by changing how the path is encoded.

For the second issue: 
"Keith Jarrett\\Charlie Haden", is that how your folder structure is? Can you give the full path for an album like that?

"Keith Jarrett\\Charlie Haden" is NOT a Folder structure, it means, that I have two artists in the meta-data of each track in this folder.

To explain the behavior in detail, I have three Folders:

e:\Musik\Keith Jarrett\1975 - The Köln Concert [24-96] [+0,5 dB]\

e:\Musik\Keith Jarrett & Charlie Haden\2010 - Jasmine [24-44]\

e:\Musik\Keith Jarrett & Charlie Haden\2014 - Last Dance [24-96]\


If I choose the "Köln Concert", I get only the associated "Booklet.pdf"

If I chosse "Jasmine" or "Last Dance" I get all the three booklet.pdf from the three Folders shown above

I hope, this gives you additional information to fix the Problem...

sorry to butt in .... but could it be a problem with your path/filename? .. it is probably pretty close to the windows  limit of 255 characters. in any case, you seem to be combining a lot in the folder name..Like you have virtually every tag included in the path/filename itself. Not sure if this is linked to the "booklet" issue however.  But might cause some other problems down the line, so thought I might mention it.

thanks for butting in I always check the filenames on windows computer (even if I dont use windows on my streamer computer or nas), I dont think this is the reason for my problem.

This issue is now resolved.

The problem was properly escaping special characters like [] and ().
I had to pull the current version waiting for release(will explain more in main JRemote thread), so this fix will also be part of
the next version.

Thank you for V3.09, Lespaul. It sems that there is no Booklet.pdf missing, even if the folder structure has "[" and "]" including.

But I still get the behavior, described above. That means I get all three booklets if I choose  e:\Musik\Keith Jarrett & Charlie Haden\2010 - Jasmine [24-44] or e:\Musik\Keith Jarrett & Charlie Haden\2014 - Last Dance [24-96].

Why did you cancel the paper-clip in "now playing"-view? - it was a good indication, that there are 'Assets' at all in this folder. I would endorse it, to get it back, maybe a little smaller than in V3.08, just abreast with the Streaming Information in the last line.

Ok, so there is probably something else going on with the multiple booklets issue. I`ll do some more experimenting with folder structure similar to yours.

The booklet icon missing from now playing on iPad was not intentional. I will be back in the next (bug-fix) release.

Both left swipe and paperclip are not working on ios7
I can see the booklet under the paperclip but I think the link is broken nothing happens after I tap it.
Delete function is gone on left swipe nothing happens when I try. I found this one which is,
- Add to playlist not working on iOS 7 devices. (Added to context menu)
