DLNA Video Problem about 5.1 to stereo sound and subtitles
« on: November 14, 2014, 01:33:18 am »

Dear Administrators,

I want to push videos from my PC to TV box through DLNA, but there're two problems. Ask for your help!

   1) How to translate 5.1 soundtrack to stereo? My speaker system has 2 channels, with PS nuwave DAC. The TV box(Andriod system) is connected with DAC by coax cable, as DPS. HTPC within JRiver is as DMS. Now the 5.1 soundtrack is without a voice in speaker system. I have tried to setup DSP but failed.
   2) How to send subtitles through DLNA? So they can be showed on TV.

These two are not problems in PC with normal setup.  I also have XBMC in TV box which works fine. However, I find the picture and sound in JRiver is much better than XBMC. It's so great! Like it. So I want to setup JRriver in HTPC correctly, to enjoy your workout on TV. Thanks a lot!
