Importing cont.

I am getting an error message that says Media Jukebox.e.exe had created errors and will be closed by Windows.  The program will have to be re-started.  When I re-started, all the files were gone and when I tried to import again, the same error message appeared.  Basically it is not letting me imprt files, and I do use the check local drives option.
1) what the heck is the problem ?
2) where can I go to read the error message, to find out what the problem is ?

I have both MP3 files and CD's that have been copied on to the system.  I am using Windows 2000 and have a CD burner.
