OK to upgrade to MC 20 now?
« on: December 29, 2014, 10:56:48 pm »

I had so much trouble with the MC 20 install, that I finally gave up and went back to MC 19 (despite having paid for MC 20).  I gave up at 20.0.46. My MC 19 is working fine and is stable. Not even sure why I am wanting to go back to 20, but like to stay with the latest version. In case it makes any difference, I am an audio-only user.

Just wondering two things:  (1) I notice you are up to Build 52.  Have you found more stability in the consequent builds (have you identified the source of the problem)?  (2) Can I install MC 20 and leave the current install of 19 on my Mac?  I do not want to go through the whole process of uninstalling 19 to 20, only have to go back to 19 again, if the problems have not been solved.

Thanks for your help.

On my system, 20 is running fine since day 1, I think it must be rather related to your setup than JRiver?
Yes, you can install and run 20 parallel to 19.
