Windows 7 PC VU meter
« on: February 28, 2015, 01:22:22 pm »

Hi

Can anybody point me in the right direction for an analog VU meter that I can have running for audio playback?  I have installed VUMeter V1.2 and I love the old fashioned look, but no matter what playback device I select the needles don't move..

Thanks in advance.

I know there are some VST plugin VU meters, in almost any style you want...if you drop that in your chain, it should work, assuming JRiver will show the VST GUI.

Here is a stereo analog style VU meter that is free.

Just tested it, and it works...but be sure to use the calibrate knob in the middle to lower the calibration just a bit, otherwise it will peg the meter constantly, or at least it did for me.  I'm sure others would work just as well.
