Will JRemote for Ipad ever allow for APE streaming

Title pretty much ask it all: Will Jemote for Ipad ever allow for APE streaming without the need to convert to mp3?

JRemote allow you to Stream without transcoding FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, MP3, OGG, AAC and WAV with jriver server.

A bump to point out that

JRemote allow you to Stream without transcoding FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, MP3, OGG, AAC and WAV with jriver server.

doesn't include APE.

I don't have an iDevice, but do they even support APE files? A quick google search says no. I don't think APE is a very widely supported codec (edit: on mobile devices); Android doesn't support it either (although I have seen 3rd party apps that do).

There are apps that can play it, I believe. For instance, https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/golden-ear/id407945101?mt=8. I don't know whether that means that JRemote can be configured to stream APE.

It may well be that it might be tome to convert my files into something more widely supported.
