APE files
« on: March 23, 2015, 08:52:50 pm »

hi,

I've downloaded some music files in the APE format (don't know why, it just happened even though I had JRiver defaulted on FLAC.)

Will these play back in the latest Linux MC version?

APE is kind of my baby, so I'll make sure it always works.

For anyone that doesn't know, writing Monkey's Audio is what landed me the job at JRiver.

I was just checking because I loaded a bunch of CD into APE files and I read on wiki that Linux won't read APE files.

Well, I read it a long time ago, remembered and didn't read it recently since it had changed.
