Rsync these days?

It's been a while since there was any discussion of rsync and what software is favors on windows machines.

What are peoples favorite rsync clients, command line or windows service?

hmm, all my backups are local ... don't do any remote syncing. So nothing really to add but I'm interested ...

For info, locally I use SyncBack -- I believe this can be used remotely with the paid version.

Rsync isnt just for remote backup, I use it to sync my music folder to a USB drive once a month. (on Linux)
The windows equivalent I used to use was synctoy (by Microsoft) but I've since switched to using crashplan. Without subscribing to their cloud backup, you can use crashplan to back up to a second internal drive, or a USB external drive, there are many other options. Crashplan runs in the background, but I think you can schedule it to backup once a day rather than continuously.

xubuntu lts 14.04 32 bit, running mc22.0.36 as anything later doesn't work properly over vnc. using linux mc22 as media server to windows mc22 last version / jremote on ipad.
