When one creates a Recording Rule, if one chooses "By Time Only" then there is a Day field that can have any combination of the days of the work.
If one chooses "By Name" then one only has "once per day" or "once per week".
It would be helpful to have the same "Day" that allows any combination of the days of the week, for the "By Name" choice.
Uses:
* Sometimes a program is aired 7 days a week, but one only wants it M-F or else only on weekends.
* Sometimes a program is aired more than once a week, BUT on a particular day, one prefers that the tuner is used for another program. Normally one could use the priority, but one might have the priority set high so that it is chosen instead of a third program.
and so forth.
