No longer able to play from ISO folders
« on: April 13, 2015, 02:19:27 pm »

Hello.

I have been watching movies from iso folders by clicking on the video_ts files with no problems until recently. All that happens now is that JRiver reports that "something went wrong with playback"  The media type video is not supported.

Is anyone able to suggest what might have gone wrong.

Thanks

Are any other video filetypes affected in this way? Can you play any video at all?

Hi thanks for responding so quickly.

In answer to your question I have just tried to play an mp4 video and got the same response.

Ok, go into options> General> Features> and see if Video Support is checked.

It seems like the whole video media subtype has been disabled somehow.

Hi

Thanks for advice it was spot on. Just not sure how it became unchecked in the first place, so thanks again for quick response.
