Can Tidal be played on MC's Chromium engine?
« on: May 14, 2015, 12:55:15 pm »

I'm trying to play Tidal through MC's Chromium. However, it says that Flash needs to be installed, but I cannot find a way to do it that allows Flash to to be used with MC's internal browser. I am trying to do this without having to install Chrome on this particular computer.

I can play Tidal through MC's Chromium engine, but I also have Chrome installed so I don't know if that makes a difference. I have a Tidal page under Video\Connected Media.

You can also consider just using the Tidal Windows app. I like it better than the web interface. It is being upgraded per their website and there is no link, but here is the invisible link.  ;)

THANK YOU!!!! I knew of this app's existence, but there were no links anywhere. BTW I do have chrome installed on my test machine, but still no luck. I still get the Flash needed message.

Use Flash Player with Chromium

I tested the link before posting and it worked then. Now it doesn't work for me either.

I have the downloaded installer. Can you accept a 30.3 MB e-mail?

Thanks again. I will pm you to get the installer. However, I did check out the chromium flash link before. I tried all the steps to no avail; Tidal still asks me to install Flash. I guess I could try again with a reboot.
