Custom views for jremote
« on: June 20, 2015, 11:14:54 am »

I am using MC 20.0.115  (Windows 8.1) and JRemote 3.10 on iOS 8.  Works great.

My understanding is that I can customize views by going to the Media Network options and Customizing the views for Gizme and webGizmo.  However, these customizations are not appearing in the JRemote tree.  It only gives me the default navigation tree (Audio, Images, Video, Playlists, Remote, Search) and not any of the custom views I added.  What might I be doing wrong?

Restart MC after you've saved your changes. You'll probably need to restart JRemote too.

I'm not sure you can add top-level Views to JRemote.  Anything underneath the existing Audio, Video, and Images top-level Views is fine for sure, though.  But, you do need to restart MC entirely (including the Media Server in the tray, if enabled) to see changes.

Also, I moved this thread to the Remotes board.
