DAC2 having problem switching from 24/192 back to 16/44

I'm using MC20 for several months with no problems. All of a sudden my Benchmark Dac2 is having a problem switching back to 16/44 after playing a 24/192 file. I have to literally play a few different 16/44 files to get it switch back... obviously no music is played when it is not switching back to the correct resolution...
