That's quite a very good news!
i'am maybe wrong but i think MJ12 is the only free player  with Secure Rip , rip+cue, and allowing encoding in mp3.

I have few questions about the future.

This player is here to stay ,or just a test ?
I mean can i spend time installing it on freinds computers and teaching them how to use it ?
As you know, it takes time and nerves........

This player will be payware at one point or another?

You will improve few things , as choosing skin, setting MPC playback and so on ( i mean a kind of  Pluging Manager) ?
Do any encoder plugin for MJ or MC  will work in this new MJ 12 ( MPC and others )?

After only few hours,i can say i,am SURE many people aroud me will use it.

If Covert Art  having a 'Resize Covert Art', i will use it as my main player.

And , to say the true ,if there is  MJ 12  payware with more  music options ( kind of a super MJ8) i would  buy it  on the spot.
No matter upgrade price or full price  .

Well , what i would like is a MJ12 who will look like a MC 12 music only part
The only extra being the resize Art Cover.
Now ,if it is a good project for you , even as a pay jukebox , this is another story.

Concerning the free jukebox as it is today , i do think than the resize art is a good thing to be , because it keeps the user inside the program for all tags.

On your side , you have to think Itune ,WinAmp and ,Monkey player( or a name  like it). as free players in the league of MJ12.

They do not have secure rip, rip to one file +CUE
MJ 12 interface is much much better ,cleaner than the 3 others.
few small things they have - or some of them have - are :

-Locate file   ( external inside jukebox is enought)
-library Tools  File properties from filename   and rename files from properties.

With this few fonctions added , i'am sure , MJ12 will stand against the other free players , and by far.

you know i use to complain about MC 12 being a mess to look at.....

With MJ 12 you got a clear, friendly interface , it looks pretty , really.
