icelp and usb ports
« on: May 20, 2004, 09:02:05 am »

We are running ICE.TCP PRO v 5.1.06 and ICELP for printing.  Server is UNIX SCO OpenServer 5.0.6.  PC's are running Windows 2000 Professional.

All our parallel printers work fine and consist of many HP LaserJets and one HP Desket 855C.  Two of our new printers will not work with ICELP.  They happen to be USB connections.  They are Canon I560 and Lexmark X5150.

Printers work fine with Window applications.  I have tried different printers on the computers and other printers work fine.  I have tried the USB Printers on other computers and they do not work with ICELP.

According to our UNIX guru, everything looks fine on the UNIX side.  The individual PC's are grabbing the print file OK.  On the PC's, the printer icon shows up on bottom right hand corner but no printing occurs.

Is there something I need to do differently for these particular printers?
