Version 3.0.12 IceOffSite running WindowsXP can connect works fine but after a few minutes comes back to login screen. This happens if idle or in the middle of working.

If you are getting dumped to a login screen without having to redial the problem is on the Unix side. Something is killing the application that you are running on the Unix machine. Have your Unix sysadmin check this out.

If you are having to redial to get a new login screen it's likely that your modem isn't making a very good connection to the Unix machines modem.

This is a serial connection I don't dial in it's hard wired to Digi C/x like a hub.

That pretty much points at the Unix side.

The only thing that might cause this on the PC side is the communications protocol under the serial parameters tab in iceconfig. You should probably set this to Xon/Xoff. DTR/DSR or RTS/CTS MAY be able to cause this behavior depending on the way that the serial cable is wired.
