Pro and Network Domain names
« on: December 22, 2003, 04:21:47 pm »

Logging into a computer using a domain name may prevent  ICETCP Pro from running correctly. You may be unable to obtain a sequence number with ConfigWiz, or Connect using TelenetPro, or you may not be able save hosts or profiles in TelnetPro.

The problem occurs because domain name (from a network) have limited access to the local computer's registry.

Solution:
WARNING! Do not attempt this unless you are comfortable with using Regedit.

Run regedit and check and set the permisions (by right clicking on the folders) to both of the following paths:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\J. River\ICE.TCP\5.0\License

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\J. River\ICE.TCP\5.0
