Do you have any known issues using ICE.TCP Plus Build 21 with Service Pack 2 on Windows XP?

Looks OK from here.

I took a clean XP PRO machine and installed SP2 on it then loaded build 24 (current).

Tried DejaWint, Ftp Pro and IceLP. All worked.

You will get the alert box the first time DejaWint and Ftp Pro run. You should select yes to unblock them.

Note that if you are already on a secure network and are NOT using Internet Explorer (your are using Firefox or Opera or Mozilla instead) there may not be an overriding reason to load SP2 now. It might be better to let them shake out any possible bugs first.

That's what my thinking was as on the loading of SP2, but according to the MS website it will auto install if you have the windows auto updating turned on. You can block it for 120 but sooner or latter it's going to install unless you turn of auto updating completely.

I almost always have auto update turned off because I want to see what's it going to do before it does it but for the average user it's probably better to have it on. Anyway, at first glance, everything looks ok for our products.

SP2 turns on a firewall by default. You either need to turn it off or tell it to let PLUS open outgoing ports.

Try Start->Settings->Network Connections
Right click on your network adapter and do properties
Choose windows firewall settings
exceptions
add program
And find dejawint or dejawin or deja32 in the list and click ok.
