Fatal ICE.TCP Pro configuration error 777
« on: May 01, 2013, 09:13:59 am »

ICE 5.1 Deja VU 7.10a/32
I'm getting Fatal error 777 a few moments after running the application. I found this error on another post (posted 2004 http://yabb.jriver.com/ice/index.php?topic=344.0) and followed the instructions. The first time I ran into this issue, it was fixed by deleting the sequence number and rerunning the configuration on both machines. Now I'm building another new machine, and getting the same error. This time the sequence number isn't even in the licensing directory (Not even the correct name of the machine its conflicting with), and the 2 IP addresses its posting in the error, one of them isn't even the right one of the machine is conflicting with.. Any other ideas?

The LicenseAdmin can sometimes be wrong.  You will have to check the Windows Registry on the two PCs that are conflicting to see what sequence number is in the Registry.

Someone may have licensed a remote user and forgot to copy the information back to LicenseAdmin, or you may have/had more than one LicenseAdmin.
