VERSION 5.1.07 DROPS

There are two possibilities:

1) There is a instability in their connection through their ISP or the destination machines ISP in which case there is nothing to do but get the respective ISP to fix the problem

or

2) There is a firewall/router/nat/etc  on either side timing out the connections on inactivity (like not hitting a key for some period of time).
In this case you can try updating to the current version of PRO which includes a keepalive timer to prevent said firewall/router/nat/etc's from shutting down the connection.

See:

For the current version changelog and download info
Try it on one machine. You just install the user portion of the update and cancel out of configwizard. This will update that machine to the current version. Then in the View->Options files put a number into the keepalive box. 10 would be 100 seconds which should be OK unless your connection is timing out in less than that.
