New Install on XP
« on: January 31, 2005, 02:12:05 pm »

Installed the download trail version on ICE.TCP.PRO on a XP SP2 Workstation, Launched Lic Admin and entered our lic information and users no problems. After loading the Client that workstation can't get seq number and can't read the default profile.

Now when I launch the Lic Admin I get the following:
No Registry Entery for the License Folder, but is showing the full correct pathing. Hit OK, and the users and systems I created show up. I was able to load the client with all other workstations without a hitch. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled same errors.

Help!!!

Only 1 machine should have a licenseadmin on it.
You can't install as a limited user.
You should never have to change the folder path.
You should ALWAYS let configwizard enter the users, don't do it manually.
The license server likes but doesn't require a registry entry. It should have created one when you installed. Did you move the license server with out installing it on another machine? That isn't the way it should be done.
