Need help with StartUp Macro
« on: June 26, 2013, 04:45:30 pm »

Hello,

I am using Telnet Pro version 5.1.30
I am using Windows XP

I am trying to create a startup script for my Telnet Pro session and I can't seem to get it right.

I tried to record a macro while I log in, however, it will not allow me and seems to be locked until I actually log in.  I can record after that but that does not help me very much.

I have accomplished something, however. I have created a profile and have entered the login name and then entered the password twice and selected a startup Macro with the following:

SEND      password\13    <---- not the real password

The password is entered, however, how do you emulate hitting the "Enter" key on your keyboard?

I have to do this part manually.

I look forward you your help.

Thanks

I usually break this into two pieces.
I setup a specific profile for my host and use the autologin function in the profile editor->Startup
Then create a macro with commands that I execute on startup after the autologin ends (with a delay for the login).
