We have a Ice Tcp Pro on machines XP AND 98, this software pushed in 2001.

The Ice Tcp was funciotin good, but the server is corruted (hd) and lost the installation.

When I try install new, the System say "Registry Error, can not save path name"

I don't backup the directory license.

I sorry, my English is very bad.

You probably should install the current version of Pro.

Install the Admin portion on the server computer first. Make sure you are logged in as administrator of the computer for every installation (both admin and client portions).

After completing the admin portion, go to each existing client and map or browse to the Icetcp5_user directory on the server computer that was created by the admin install.  These client installations will include running configwizard, which will also be on the server computer. DO NOT run the client installations directly from the CD.

Use your permanent activation keys (your 5 and 10 user).

1) The company name MUST be the same for both licenses
2) The serial number is NOT a license number. You need to go to http://portage.jriver.com to activate a serial number (this sends you a license for that serial number).
