My version is 5.1.07.  My problem is that when using PC Print, the printer is advancing on an 11” increment, but the form I am printing onto is only 7”.  I am trying to find a way to get the printer to just advance to the top of the next 7” form.  I tried changing the setting in the properties of that printer under Windows, but the only choices I have are “Legal” or “letter”

The length of the form is up to the unix application to determine. If the application knows it's printing onto a form of less than 11" it should be sending linefeeds to go to the end of the form instead of a generic formfeed which the printer always interprets as "letter length".

You could try the latest version (5.1.25) on one PC and change the print mode to direct print to see if the application is really trying to do the right thing. Other than that you MAY be able to configure the printer to recognize the shorter form length.
