Remote Licensing

There is an issue with remote licesing where if you use a disk to run the Config wizard and pull a license. If you do this on one PC and try to go to another PC the disk will not be readable. I have tried this many different time and it does the same thing. Windows asks if the disk wants to be formatted. Do you have any ideas what to do about this? ???

There are a couple different methods for installing when the network is not available: (1) exporting licenses from LicenseAdmin onto a floppy, along with the Data folder; and (2) the remote install directions found in Tips & Tricks on our Forum (copying the Licenses and Data folders onto a floppy).  Which method are you using?  Also, what version of Pro is your LicenseAdmin?

I am using 5.1.26 and I export the file directly to a floppy. Then I use the floppy once and then I cannot read the floppy anymore. It will not read in any PC.

One of the floppy drives is misaligned/bad. .
Try using a USB removable drive (pen or such) instead.
