Profile Problems

Greetings,

I have a client that is having problems with his ICE TCP 5.1.19 profile on XP Pro.  It will not retain the IP address.  He has to type it in every time (like when the program is first installed and run). 

I have removed and reinstalled the software several times.  I have reserved his old sequence # on the license admin to ensure he gets a new number.  I have also run the Config Wizard on the machine but the program still has the same problem.

Also this machine will run slow, lock up or go to a solid white screen (in ICE TCP) at times (later in the day).  Related?   

ICE TCP is the only program that is locking up or having problems on this machine, everything else appears to be normal.

Any suggestions for a repair or instructions for a complete remove and reinstall would be helpful.

Regarding the locking up issue, you might try updating that PC to the latest version.  KeepAlive options were added to the latest builds of Pro.  Search "Keepalive" on the Forum for numerous topics.
