Logging / Troubleshooting
« on: March 16, 2009, 09:55:03 am »

The system we are using requires hitting the F4 key to go back to a prior menu.  When a user reaches the main menu, they have to select QUIT in order to exit the system completely. However every once in a while when a user hits F4, the telnet pro window closes completely.  There are no error messages.

I am trying to get to the root of this issue.  Is there any way to turn on logging to help in troubleshooting?  I have also excluded the J River and telnetpro.exe from the realtime antivirus scan (didn't help). Are there any other processes that need to be excluded in case the AV is the problem?

No particular ideas here. I haven't seen that behavior before.
What version are you running (Help->Version info).

If you have a current version you could try turning on keepalives.
