switching to 132 chars on Linux
« on: January 27, 2010, 09:58:11 am »

I am running telnetpro 5.1.26, connecting to a Red Hat Enterprise 5.4 Linux system.  I am using wyse60 24 line emulation.  I am trying to change the display to 132 characters with tput is1, which is mapped to \E`;  The display switches to 132 characters, but it also changes the stty rows setting from 24 to 25, which leads to display problems.  This does not happen with other emulators - the stty rows setting is left at 24 lines.  We need to use the wyse60 emulation, but need to know how to cure the stty rows problem.

Thank you
Mike

Hello Mike,
You could try sending the code for 24 lines after sending the 132 columns code.
