Installation
« on: November 17, 2005, 11:55:32 am »

I have installed the ICE.TCP Pro Verision 5.1.25 on both my Laptop and Desktop.  I have Windows XP Pro on the Laptop and the install was fast and no problems.  I have Windows Home Edition on my Desktop and it is not completing the config. defaults.

Once the Config. Wizard comes up I don't find any subfolders in my Telnet Pro file.  I can get the prompt screen that allows me to port into the Unix but I have to manually enter the HOST IP and it's profiles.

Can you HELP?

Not sure exactly what you are saying. If configwizard completed OK and you can get a connect BUT the hostname/address isn't being saved, it's a registry permissions problem. Check this post:

and this if you still have trouble:

I have tried both and now I have been told that the uninstall wizard is inactive and I can not remove the TCP Pro without it

What a mess!

Neither of those has anything to do with uninstall.

Check step 3 in this message.
