Ice Ten can't open Dell com3

I just loaded Ice Ten on my new Dell running XP media center. Com 3 shows already open when Ice Ten is openned. I've disabled my fax, but that didn't help. Has anybody figured this problem out yet? Does anybody know how to see what is taking control of my com3/modem. Windows application such as dial up connection don't have a problem using the modem. ??? ??? >:(

I can't tell you what is hogging the com port on your Dell however I talked to a user today that went through Dell tech support and finally found someone who fixed the problem by turning something off in msconfig. If I get more info I will post it here...

If you find out please tell the rest of us.
