IceTen and Odobe Reader
« on: June 13, 2006, 08:39:19 am »

Customer downloaded Odobe Reader on PC using IceTen V4.7.12. Both programs function fine until the PC or server gets rebooted, then IceTen gets "lost".....black screen with a hanging cursor. Uninstalling and reinstalling Ice software got it back. As long as Odobe not used the software stays installed. Is this a known problem, is there a fix or is it a compatibility issue?

Heather,
It's not a known problem and sounds really bizarre. Is this Adobe reader you are talking about? I don't know of an Odobe reader.

You might want to do a full disk scan, it sounds like the hard drive may be damaged (with crosslinked clusters) or perhaps it has a virus.
