Richard Head:
Hi guys
just Updated to Version 21. Running Latest El Capitan OSX and Display ( the small panel located at the bottom left of main screen not showing usual
copy of Album playing. Anyone got a cure ?

Awesome Donkey:
That's interesting. I'm running El Capitan and the album art is showing in the Display panel. You're using the Black on Black skin, correct? It's showing fine here.

Is the album art embedded into the files (and what type of files are they?) or is the album art a folder.jpg image in the file's location?

Richard Head:
Thanks for getting back to me.

I have a library for MP3. I think most of those are folder.jpg fiies in the Album folder
I also have a Library of FLAC Albums. These don't seem to have any picure files in their folders

What do I need to do ?

Things were working fine in MC20

blgentry:
I have a funny feeling your album art is stored in the Cover Art directory for MC20.  If so, you'll need to copy it over.

Go to your Library folder and find MC20's Cover Art folder.  If it's full of JPEGs, I would copy all of those over to MC21's Cover Art directory, and then tell MC to update the art with:

1.  Select some files
2.  Right click
3.  Cover Art > Quick Find in File / Cover Art directory

Alternatively, you can look at the Tags on some of the files.  Select Tag, to open the Tagging Pane.  Then scroll down in the Tagging Pane until you see Image File.  It will give you a file name if it's looking for external album art files.

Brian.

Richard Head:
Had a good look around and it appears that the Tag for image file either points to the correct MC21 picture folder or it implies that the appropriate
picture is "inside file". This would appear to be normal and satisfactory and doesn't explain why "display" is not functioning correctly.
Oddly display is showing various zoom rates; some as high as 5600% which doesn't seem right somehow.
